Everything moved on except the toolpath
Design moved on. Parts are shaped by simulation, drawn by tools that think in fields and forces. Machines moved on too, printing almost any material at almost any scale.
The toolpath between them is still a stack of flat slices. Spliner rebuilt it from the ground up, for the machines and the workflows in use today.

What a non-planar toolpath buys you
Four things follow from one physics-aware route through the whole part.
The shape you drew
Flat layers approximate a curve, and finer layers only shrink the error. A route that moves in three dimensions follows the form instead of stepping up it.
One rate, held
The G-code carries a single print feedrate for the whole part. Nothing in it asks your extruder to chase a new flow rate halfway through.
Energy you can spread
Lay a bead beside one you just finished and the energy stacks up in one place. Spliner can take the long way round instead, giving the earlier bead room before its neighbour arrives.
Design intent, carried through
Your analysis already knows which way the load runs. Spliner can take that field of directions as part of what the route is judged on, so material goes down along the load paths you designed for.
From the desk to the cell
The bigger the bead, the more a stop costs. If you are printing something that cannot afford one, Spliner writes the toolpath for it, whether the machine fits on a desk or fills an LFAM cell.
STL in, portable G-code out
Same machine, different path. No plugin, and no infill or supports to configure. You design those into the part in CAD, shaped for the process you are running.
Upload your STL
A solid part as an STL. Spliner reads the mesh as a volume rather than a stack of layers.
Configure and solve
No pattern to pick, no profile to tune. A handful of numbers about your machine, your nozzle and your bead, then a short list of solver controls.
Review and download
Inspect the route in 3D, check its coverage and travel count, then download portable G-code. Marlin, Klipper, RepRapFirmware.
